This Saturday May 7th, your Kirkwood Public Library presents a very special author event! At the Barnes and Noble in Ladue (click here for a map), famed author and St. Louis native Elaine Viets will be signing her new book The Art of Murder from 1-3PM. There will also be a family storytime and children’s art show at 11AM. This bookfair will support the Municipal Library Consortium by contributing a percentage of all book and cafe sales made by our patrons from 11AM til 5PM – just mention you’re with us! This will be the perfect chance to pick out a special Mother’s Day gift and benefit your local library at the same time! Again, a percentage of all the sales from people who say they’re with us will come back to the MLC. Just let your cashier know you are there for the bookfair benefit, or hand them one of our convenient bookmarks, to be found at the circulation and reference desks (if they ask, our bookfair number is 11823663). You can see all the Elaine Viets titles in our collection by checking out our catalog here. We’d love to see you on Saturday for this special event, and, as always, thank you for your support!
