From now until Saturday April 16th bring in canned or dried goods to the Kirkwood Public Library to pay for fines.  One can or boxed good is equivalent to $1 and we will accept goods for up to $20 in fines. Last year we waived a total of $340 in fines and collected 402 food items. All donations will go to support Kirkcare which helps feed and support those in need in the Kirkwood R-7 School District. No expired food, glass, or damaged cans will be accepted. Only Kirkwood overdue fines will be waived. Thank you for helping us support the community. We also have a new food donation receptacle for Kirkcare located in our lobby area, so you can donate all year long.
