The Kirkwood Public Library is holding a Library Card Design Contest in honor of our 90th Anniversary. Library Card Designs will be accepted now through March 20, 2016. All ages are invited to participate and one winner will be selected from each age group (child, adult, and teen) for a limited run of library cards. The theme for the library card is the 90th Birthday of Kirkwood Public Library and the design should feature some aspect of the library.  Official Entry Forms are available for pick-up at the library. The design may be hand drawn, painted, or book-drawing-lessons-0005computer designed. Each artist may submit one design and the layout should be approximately square 4 ½ in. wide by 4 ½ in. high and will be reduced to 2 in. by 2 in. to fit on each library card. Winners and their designs will be honored at an unveiling ceremony on Saturday May 21, 2016 as part of our Summer Reading Kickoff Activities.
