Kirkwood Public Library has spent the last few months designing and building a new website. This new site will be streamlined, mobile-friendly and much easier to navigate, with quick access to library resources such as OverDrive and Zinio as well as information about library services. The new calendar of events has a look and feel of a Pinterest board as well as the ability to filter events by category.

Our new website will also host our li

brary blogs, which have moved off of Blogger, where you can find staff reviews on materials for adults, children and teens.

The release of this new site is still being determined, though we anticipate it will be soon. Also rolling out with this new website will be the release of the service known as Hoopla to our library users as well as the new Kirkwood Digital Collection, a digital repository. So be on the lookout for these wonderful new changes. We are really excited about them and we know you will be as well!

Our new website will still be available at

Nick O’Neal is the Director of Technology and Online Services and is currently playing the game Fallout 4.  Visit your Kirkwood Public Library at 140 E. Jefferson Avenue, or call us at 821-5770.  Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
