As a reward for reading all summer long, students at Educare YWCA Headstart each earned a special treat – a bag of books to take home. The books are on a variety of fun themes, such as dogs and food, and include not only books for the students, but also for their family members. This project was funded by the Marion J. Brooks Trust, and the Kirkwood Library staff loved selecting the materials!  Kirkwood Residents Jim Erwin and Wallace Ward joined Ms. Lynn Bosso from the Library in delivering (and reading, of course!) the books on Monday August 17. Three cheers for a community of readers!  Pictured below Wallace Ward (top), Jim Erwin (middle), and Lynn Bosso (bottom).
