The interior of Your Kirkwood Public Library will be getting a face-lift this winter! The Fiction area on the main floor has been painted, and the lower level youth services area is currently getting touched up.  Next up will be the other side of the main level, where the periodicals live.

We are planning to keep the inconvenience to our patrons at a minimum during those days.  The painters have been working overnight so they will not be in the way of anyone, and they are keeping their materials as far out of the way as possible.

Looking to do some home repair yourself this winter? We’ve got a collection of resources to help you get started on the right foot! Be sure to check out: the 2014 edition of The Book of Home How-To: Complete Photo Guide to Home Repair & Improvement by Black & Decker and Young House Love: 243 Ways to Paint, Craft, Update & Show Your Home Some Love by Sherry & John Petersik.
