As part of Kirkwood Public Library’s Maintaining Your Home Series:  Small Garden Design, join us at Roots and Blooms (915 S. Kirkwood) on Wednesday,May 7, at 9:30 a.m.  Sherry and Jen from Roots and Blooms will teach us how to create a garden in a small place using annuals and perennials that bloom from spring to late fall.  Reservations are required; please phone 314-821-5770, ext. 1012.

You can always find gardening help at the library – KPL’s gardening collection contains a plethora of books on every topic related to flowers, trees, shrubs and vegetables, from landscaping to getting rid of pests in your yard.

*Lisa Henry is Director of Operations at the Kirkwood Public Library.  She is currently reading Where Nobody Knows Your Name by John Feinstein. Visit the Kirkwood Public Library at 140 E. Jefferson Ave or call at 821-5770.   Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
