Earth Day at the Market!

There is SOOOOO much going on this weekend in Kirkwood.  First off, it’s Earth Day at the Market, sponsored by Kirkwood Living Green.  As the title suggests, Kirkwood’s Farmers’ Market this weekend will be host to tons of exhibits and displays and wonderful information on all the things you can do to live a GREEN life (which sounds funny, but you know what we mean).  The City will have a booth on the east end of the Fair and the first 35 folks who stop will get either a FREE CFL bulb or a FREE reusable grocery tote (we have 25 of the bulbs and 10 of the bags).

If you come in the afternoon, you can meet my poochie Chester – he will be helping me to staff the booth after about 1:30 p.m., or so.  In the morning, starting at 10:00 a.m., our new Sanitation Director, Jimmy Vitale, will staff the booth, so be sure to stop by and meet him!
